Please fill out the questionnaire and sign up for the first block of classes from the “Masha Fund”. These classes will focus on “Psychological Preparation for Changes: The First Steps to Finding a Job” and will be conducted by professional career counselors and a psychologist.
The Masha Fund has launched a new initiative that focuses on career guidance for women. As part of this initiative, the first project that we are undertaking is a series of workshops to help Ukrainian women acquire the necessary knowledge and skills required to secure employment.
The initial set of classes will focus on psychological preparation for changes and guide attendees through the first steps of a job search. The classes will take place from November 4 to December 2, 2023, every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and will be held offline at the Nezlamna Mental Health Recovery Center located in Kyiv.
The block will include the following classes:
- November 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Topic: “Dare to Change: Psychological and Practical Aspects.” The speaker is Iryna Basista, a psychologist, and psychotherapist. The class will focus on self-esteem, fears, and their impact on one’s life. We will discuss the psychological and practical aspects of adapting to new living conditions after losing a job in a conflict zone.
- November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Topic: “Planning Your Dream Career in Times of Uncertainty.” The speaker, Dasha Smirnykh, is a consultant who specializes in personal development strategies. The classes will cover topics such as how to proactively build a dream career and what competencies to develop to be in demand in the labor market. The seminar will help participants to properly create a career plan.
- November 18 from 11:00 to 14:00 Topic: “Strategies and Tools for Finding Opportunities. Writing CVs and Cover Letters”. In this lesson, we will analyze job search strategies, explore platforms with job openings, learn basic tips for creating resumes, and discuss the benefits of motivational letters.
- November 25, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Topic: “Interviewing Workshop: CV Analysis and Interview Preparation” (part 1) Speakers – Yana Datsenko and Inha Hadiatska. Participants can send their existing CVs for analysis before the workshop. Trainers will provide interview preparation tips.
- December 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Topic: “Interview workshop: self-presentation in the conditions of a real interview with a recruiter” (part 2). The workshop will be led by Yana Datsenko and Inha Hadiatska, who will discuss the basis of self-presentation and the questions that employers typically ask. There will also be a simulation of a real interview with a recruiter for all interested parties, followed by analysis and practical advice.
The “Successful” (“Uspishna”) project is implemented with the support of the international non-governmental organization United for Ukraine.
