Masha Fund became the winner of the National Competition Charity Ukraine-2023

Our psycho-emotional stabilization program Unbreakable Mom won a unique amber statuette Angel of Goodness and a diploma in the nomination Charity Action of the Year.

For two years now, the Unbreakable Mom, psycho-emotional stabilization project for women and their children from the Masha Fund has been helping Ukrainian women overcome the terrible consequences of the war and find the strength to live on. For three weeks, the wards of the Foundation work with psychologists, participate in group classes, and communicate with each other. And all this amidst the nature of the Carpathians!

We have already managed to help more than 1,600 women and their children and carry out 68 project shifts. We are not going to stop there, because we see how psychological help is currently necessary. And when our successes are noticed and celebrated at the national level, it motivates us to do even more.

Thus, the Unbreakable Mom program from the Masha Fund won first place in the Charity Ukraine-2023 national competition. This event is considered the Oscar of charity, that is, a prestigious competition in the field of charity, philanthropy and volunteering. Among the nominees in the Charity Action of the Year category were the Ronald McDonald’s House Foundation in Ukraine charity organization and the Eastern Europe Foundation international charity organization. The leaders were determined by the National Expert Council of the competition.

“Inspirational Charitable Ukraine, that’s how I would characterize this competition. An incredible number of people with big and kind hearts gathered in one place. These people support, help and care for those who need it. And the recognition of our Unbreakable Mom project once again demonstrated its importance and relevance for the country, and for the Foundation team, it confirmed the correctness of the vector of work. We are a part of a large team of philanthropists of Ukraine, a part of a great cause in helping our women and children,” says Tetyana Muratkina, director of the Masha Fund.

The Charity Ukraine contest was founded in 2007. One of its tasks is to recognize the best organizations, their projects and work methods. This year, the participants submitted 1,604 applications for participation, among which the expert council chose the best.

“Our victory in the competition is a sign that the work of managers, psychologists, physical therapists, art therapists and all colleagues at the Masha Fund is not in vain. Of course, each of our specialists deserves respect and recognition. I thank everyone for their daily tireless work, selfless efforts and enthusiasm! I thank the organizers of the competition for believing in us and recognizing our efforts. And to the Ukrainian women who participated in Unbreakable Mom, I thank them for their trust and desire to work and help themselves, says Valentina Bilmach, manager of the Unbreakable Mom project.

The honor of the Masha Fund in the Charity Ukraine-2023 competition gives an incentive not to stop to realize our mission: the revival of women for the sake of the revival of Ukraine!
