This is exactly the path taken by the Unbreakable Mom program of psycho-emotional stabilization for women and their children who have suffered from the war, from the Masha Fund. The project team systematically implements advanced technologies and the latest developments in women’s mental health care.
One of the key innovations of the past year at Unbreakable Mom was the piloting of the Healthy Mind platform—a digital psycho-emotional diagnostics system tailored to Ukrainian realities. This tool has already proven its effectiveness during the implementation stage, enabling specialists to understand participants’ needs more deeply and respond to them more effectively.
“Within our camps, we have integrated digital psycho-emotional diagnostics, Healthy Mind, a tool that has already proven its practical value at the pilot implementation stage,” says Tetiana Muratkina, director of the Masha Fund. “For us, this is not just a technical novelty. This is part of the systemic approach to mental health that we are implementing. Healthy Mind provides participants with their first safe reflection of their condition, enabling them to develop individual recovery trajectories further.
Healthy Mind combines validated psychological questionnaires with adaptation to the Ukrainian context of war and traumatic experience. The platform enables you to conduct diagnostics based on dozens of parameters simultaneously, identifying both deep-seated emotional needs and hidden risk areas.
“The Healthy Mind platform has become an important tool in the work of psychologists of the Unbreakable Mom project,” explains the program’s methodologist, Olga Koptyeva. “While previously we could only work with six scales in a face-to-face format, now we have access to over 40 scales covering a broadspectrum—from anxiety levels, depressive symptoms, and communication characteristics to body reactions and aggressive behavior.
Thanks to Healthy Mind, specialists gain a clear picture of each participant’s condition. They can observe how the dynamics are changing, track the effectiveness of the measures, adjust the program, and select additional interventions. And most importantly, not only does the psychologist work with the results, but also the participant herself.
A special value of Healthy Mind is that you can take the test yourself, at any convenient time. Unbreakable Mom participants undergo assessments at the beginning and end of the program, but they retain access to this tool after the camp ends. Having a gadget and 15 minutes is all that is needed for re-diagnosis. Women receive not only an objective picture of their condition, but also clear recommendations on how to maintain internal balance. This creates space for independent, caring contact with yourself even outside of the program.
“Each woman receives personal recommendations after diagnostics. This helps you better understand your condition and formulate a clear request to a psychologist. And the specialist already knows from the first minutes what to work with. This significantly increases the effectiveness of assistance,” adds Olha.
At the same time, technology does not replace “live” work–it complements it. And this is precisely the power of the hybrid approach that the Unbreakable Mom program consistently follows. The Healthy Mind system enables you to collect a high-quality diagnostic database, and psychologists at the camps transform it into support that has a lasting impact.
The Masha Fund continues to work on implementing the latest technologies in various projects, as it sees this not only as a modern trend but as a real necessity, an answer to the challenges that war poses to us. And what is an innovation today may become the new standard of care tomorrow.
We are grateful to the Tokarev Foundation for supporting innovation in the field of mental health and to Healthy Mind for its technological solutions, which make psychological care more accessible, effective, and scientifically sound.
Let’s help women revive for the sake of Ukraine’s revival!
